This is a curb-to-curb service. Clients must board independently or bring a companion. Drivers assist wheelchair users only with boarding and securing chairs and cannot enter homes or buildings.
Services: medical appointments, Senior Center lunch, shopping, banking, and Senior Center programs.
Schedule all rides with the Transportation Coordinator at least 7 days in advance. Medical trips allow one hour unless more time is arranged.
When booking, provide appointment details, doctor information, appointment length, companion info, and lift needs. Day surgery requires a companion to ride home.
No unscheduled stops. Be ready at pick-up time. Call after 12 PM the day before if you need your pick-up time.
Cancellations: Call 860-292-8261. Less than 2 hours’ notice is a no-show. Three no-shows in a month = 1-month suspension; more no-shows = 3-month suspension.
Weather: Follows East Windsor school delays and closings.
