What is the Way To Go CT Mobility Management Program?

The program connects residents of North Central Connecticut with available transportation resources, helping them navigate and access public and private transit options.

Who is the program for?

It serves older adults, people with disabilities, and Veterans in North Central Connecticut who need help understanding or accessing transportation services.

What is a mobility manager?

A mobility manager helps individuals plan transportation routes, understand available services, and solve travel-related challenges, especially when barriers to transportation exist.

How can I find transportation options in my town?

Visit our database or contact us via email or phone to request a printed guide which lists transportation services available in each town, including schedules and eligibility details.

What services does Way To Go CT offer?

We offer outreach, transportation resource guides, help applying for taxi voucher programs, Dial-A-Ride info, and a call center for support.

Costs + Discounted Fares

Is there any cost for these services?

Our guidance and resources are free. Some transportation options may have a cost, but we can help you find affordable or subsidized options.

How can I qualify for discounted fares?

Many of the discounted fare options require the completion of an application or proof of ADA certification. If you need help with your application, please contact our Mobility Manager.

How do I contact the call center?

Call (860) 267- 5439 (ex. 100) and ask for Steven. We are available 8:30 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday. Our team can help you find the best transportation options and answer your questions.

What if I have a transportation complaint or need an advocate?

Our advocacy service is available to help address your concerns and advocate for your transportation needs.

Can organizations partner with or refer people to your program?

Yes! We work closely with social service agencies, nonprofits, transit operators, and other community organizations.
