ABOUT
The Out of Town Medical Transportation program provides curb-to-curb service for Newington seniors and people with disabilities to medical appointments in nearby communities. This service is offered in partnership with Wethersfield and Rocky Hill through a state grant.

The Out of Town Medical Transportation program operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You should make your medical appointment between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Please note: During the school year, the service provider is also picking up school children. To receive the best service, you may want to make your appointment between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Transportation is for medical services unavailable in Newington. Trips must be scheduled 2 days in advance with your and your doctor/facility’s details. Pick-up should be 45 minutes before your appointment.
Limit: 4 rides per person per month.
