Route 541 – Bristol Local operates local service within the City of Bristol. The west end of the route, 541W, serves Gaylord Towers and the east side of the route, 541E, serves Tunxis Community College via Farmington Ave. Alternating trips on Route 541E also serve Birchwood Manor, Bristol Senior Center and Bristol Hospital. On Saturdays, Route 541E is extended to Plainville Center and returns to downtown Bristol via Forestville Center.
